Allama Iqbal Open University Offers 3 Types of BS Urdu Programs

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) offers three types of BS Urdu programs to cater to students at different academic levels:

1. 4-Year BS Urdu Program

This program is designed for students who have completed Intermediate (FA/FSc). It consists of 8 semesters, and in the final semester, students are required to complete a thesis along with a viva.

2. 2.5-Year BS Urdu Program

This option is for students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree (BA). The program includes 5 semesters, and like the 4-year program, it also requires a thesis in the final semester.

3. 2-Year BS Urdu Program

This is a shorter version of the BS Urdu program, completed in 2 years. It is suitable for students with specific eligibility criteria (details usually provided by the university).
