Please read the following points carefully to understand how to attend and complete your workshops at AIOU:

  1. Eligibility & Mandatory Attendance

  • Workshops are not mandatory for Matric, FA, I.Com, and BA Associate Degree students.
  • For all higher programs (BS and onward), attendance in scheduled workshops is mandatory.
  • BS through legacy MA program students must complete their workshops.
  1. Mode of Delivery

  • B.Ed, M.Ed, and MA Education workshops can be held online, via lesson‑plan registers, or in-person at regional teaching‑practice centers—depending on AIOU’s policy.
  • The university reserves the right to choose either format.
  1. Scheduling

  • Finalize workshop dates, number of days, and subjects at least one week before start.
  • This gives you time to solve any login/password issues or other personal challenges in advance.
  1. Attendance Requirement

    • A minimum 80% attendance is required to pass each workshop.

    • Attendance will be recorded via Microsoft Teams in the new schedule format.

    • Check your subject’s date and time on the portal and note it down.

  2. Record‑Keeping

  • Stay in touch with your course supervisor.
  • Keep both online and (if applicable) in‑center attendance records.
  • For online sessions, take and save screenshots on your mobile until you graduate.
  • The join‑workshop link and the “complete workshop” confirmation link are included in the original article.
  1. Grading Weightage

  • Passing your course requires meeting the minimum marks in assignments (20%), workshops & quizzes (30%), and the final exam (50%).
  • If you miss a workshop, register for the Reappear right away and attend with new students.
  • Keep your username and password secure.
  1. Self‑Study Encouraged
  • Online classes are very easy to join from home—avoid relying on others.
  • You may struggle at first, but you’ll quickly get used to the format.
  1. Failure Policy

  • Missing workshops three times in a row will result in failing that course—even if you pass the exam.
  • Always aim to attend on the very first opportunity.
