Eligibility Criteria at a Glance
Undergraduate Scholarships
- Completion of 12 years of education
- Age: 17–23 years
- At least 60% marks in general subjects or 65% in medical/engineering subjects (based on IBCC equivalency in Pakistan)
MS/M.Phil Scholarships
- Age limit: 35 years
- Minimum 16 years of education
- At least 2.5 CGPA out of 4.0
PhD Scholarships
- Age limit: 35 years (non-faculty) and 40 years (faculty)
- 18 years of education
- Minimum 3.0 CGPA out of 4.0 in MS/M.Phil
How to Apply
All applications must be submitted online through the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan’s portal: pakafghan.hec.gov.pk. A detailed user manual is available on the site to guide applicants step by step. Importantly, hard copy applications will not be accepted.
Deadline: The last date for submission is 30 September 2025. Afghan students with excellent academic records are encouraged to apply early to secure their chance.
